As you may have previously downloaded and used Gantt Chart controls for WPF, Windows Forms, or Silverlight from DlhSoft in the past, and considering that currently the entire programming community gets more interested in HTML5 features than ever (e.g. Microsoft has recently adopted HTML5 standards and JavaScript as an important code base for their Metro style app development in Windows 8), we would like to introduce a new DlhSoft library following this trend: Gantt Chart Hyper Library for HTML5.
Here is a final screenshot of the base usage of our new GanttChartViewcontrol for HTML5 – note that the Gantt Chart area is fully interactive, allowing the end user to perform drag and drop operations to update task values and to create task dependencies, and the cells in the left grid are also editable and fully synchronized to their associated task bars:
Finally, we should let you know that we also have an interactive Schedule Chartcontrol that displays multiple task bars per row, being very useful (for example) to present individual assignments of a set of resources, and (optionally) to allow the end user to move task bars to different rows to schedule activities to available resources using simple vertical drag and drop operations.
Note that the entire set of documentation presenting all the technical details and available features of the product is available on our Web site for your further review. Enjoy!
Update: inline SVG features of HTML5 required by the components are available in all modern browsers; Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox support SVG since a long time ago; Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 is also accepted (you can check the complete availability list here: http://caniuse.com/#feat=svg-html5).
